For admission to BE Civil Engineering at Tribhuvan University, normally, the students should have passed in grade 12/+2 or any equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as required by the Institute of Engineering (IOE).

The Bachelor of Civil Engineering (B. Tech) program at Tribhuvan University is a four-year undergraduate engineering degree at the Institute of Engineering (IOE). The programme imparting the students with the solid background in Engineering Mathematics, Physics, Mechanics, Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Water Resources, Environmental Engineering, Surveying, Construction Management and related disciplines.

Students acquire both theoretical knowledge and engineering skills through lab work, field work, design projects and engineering applications. The program aims to provide graduates with the ability to work in the construction industry, in infrastructure development, consulting firms, public administration entities, hydropower, transportation, structural design, urban development and other engineering fields related to the development of infrastructure.
